LONDON — Pharmaceuticals company GlaxoSmithKline PLC said Tuesday it has advised medical staff in Canada to not use one batch of swine flu vaccines in case they trigger life-threatening allergies.
Company spokeswoman Gwenan White said that they issued the advice after reports that one batch of the swine flu vaccine might have caused more allergic reactions than normal.
“We have advised health care professionals not to use that batch while health authorities and GlaxoSmithKline investigate,” she said.
White said the batch at issue, which has been distributed across Canada, contains 172,000 doses of the vaccine. She declined to say how many doses had been administered before the advice to stop using them was given.
(NaturalNews) Three doctors and six nurses from the town of Grudziadz, Poland, are being investigated on charges that they recruited 350 homeless people into a clinical trial of a vaccine for the H5N1 flu virus without informing them what the study was really about. Read the rest of this entry »
Now it turns out that one of the public school students given the swine flu vaccine without parental consent had to go to the emergency room after getting sick. Six-year-old Nikiyah Torres, who suffers from epilepsy (her parents had been waiting to see what their family doctor said about the swine flu vaccine) told WCBS 2, “He just gave me the needle, without asking me what is my name.”
The little girl told the Daily News, “My stomach was hurting, and I was itching,” and was taken to the hospital from her school, PS 335 in Brooklyn. According to the News, “When the nurse called for a student Thursday morning, Nikiyah’s teacher misunderstood and sent the wrong student, [NIkyah's mother Naomi] Troy said. The error was compounded when the nurse didn’t check Nikiyah’s name before sticking her in the shoulder.” Read the rest of this entry »
This story is about a Canadian group of journalists that call themselves Press For Truth, it should not be confused with the movie Press For Truth, which covers the Jersey Widows story of pushing the Government into organizing the Commission Report hearings of 9/11. I have posted this particularstory because they are doing a wonderful job of covering a side of a current situation that is not getting enough coverage, much like the 9/11 truth movement work. -Brian
Press for Truth reporter and director of the upcoming film United We Fall Bryan Law covers the first day of a mass vaccination program which has begun in Toronto Canada. Thousands of Canadians in the so-called at risk group are being encouraged to line up right away. Bryan spoke with the concerned Canadians about why they were lining up to get the shot and it quickly became clear that the propaganda machine is kicking the fear state into overdrive.
According to the CDC, swine flu infections have already peaked, and the pandemic is on its way out. Peak infection time was the middle of October, where one in five U.S. children experienced the flu, says the CDC. Out of nearly 14,000 suspected flu cases tested during the week ending on October 10, 2009, 99.6% of those were influenza A, and the vast majority of those were confirmed as H1N1 swine flu infections. Even though the H1N1 pandemic appears to have peaked out, U.S. President Barack Obama has now declared a national emergency over swine flu infections. The reasoning behind such a declaration? According to the White House, it’s designed to “allow hospitals to better handle the surge in patients” by allowing them to bypass certain federal laws.
That’s the public explanation for this, but the real agenda behind this declaration may be far more sinister. Declaring a national emergency immediately gives federal authorities dangerous new powers that can now be enforced at gunpoint, including:
Gary Null spoke very passionately last week at the NY State Assembly about the dangers of Mercury, or thimerosal, in vaccines. Health Care workers were ready to lose their jobs, and many became involved in suing the State through a Union, as mentioned below. Although they say this is due to a vaccine shortage, I will quietly write this off as a victory for the people, by the people. -Brian
New York public health workers will no longer be required to be vaccinated against both the seasonal and H1N1 flu virus, state officials announced Thursday, prompted by a vaccine shortage.
A statement from Gov. David Paterson announced the policy change on behalf of State Health Commissioner Richard F. Daines.
Daines had originally said that public health workers must be vaccinated for the seasonal flu and the H1N1 virus, also known as swine flu, by November 30 or risk discipline.
The Public Employees Federation, New York’s second-largest state employees union, sued over the requirement and was awaiting a state Supreme Court hearing scheduled for October 30.

Doctors say she has a rare, one-in-a-million neurological disorder that was triggered 10 days after she got a seasonal flu shot.
The elderly, the young, and the frequently exposed are being advised to get vaccinated against H1N1 flu virus this year, due to predictions of a possible influenza epidemic. A new law in New York requires nurses and doctors to receive the vaccination by the end of November. A band of four nurses in Albany, however, is taking a stand against mandated vaccination.
“I have had more staff that have become ill after the flu vaccines this year than coworkers that have actually come down with the illness,” Lorna Patterson, a nurse at Albany Medical Center’s emergency room, told news network WTEN. Patterson is one of the nurses who is filing a lawsuit this week against the state. She and her coworkers hope that they can stop the state from enforcing the mandatory vaccinations.
This year, the New York State Health Department is requiring all health care workers who come into contact with patients to get the flu vaccine, and will also require the H1N1 or swine flu vaccine as well.
It’s something the department says is for everyone’s safety, but a number of workers are concerned about being forced to get the shot. Steve Ference has more on why some hospital workers say the mandate is flat out wrong.
Rob Kozik, a registered nurse in Stony Brook University Medical Center’s neonatal intensive care unit, doesn’t want the government to force him to be vaccinated against H1N1 swine flu.
Dozens of Long Island nurses – many from Stony Brook University Medical Center – plan to rally with health care workers from across the state next week in Albany to protest a state regulation that mandates they be vaccinated for swine flu or lose their jobs.
