Almost a decade after the nightmare of 9/11, former fighter pilot Tim Duffy still fields the questions:
What took you so long?
Why didn’t you get to lower Manhattan from your base on Cape Cod in time to at least protect the gashed and ablaze World Trade Center from being struck by a second airliner?
“I get that all the time,” Duffy said Friday during a visit to the Sonoma County aircraft museum that’s become guardian to the retired supersonic F-15 he flew that September morning in 2001.
Trim and prematurely gray at 49, the combat veteran said he’s concluded after 10 years of review and what-ifs that nothing could have been done to substantially change the timeline of one of the nation’s most ghastly and heartbreaking days.

As reported by others for a long time, PG&E is not accepting “opt outs”. The proper term is “deferment” or “delaying” as opt out is not an option in the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) mandates that PG&E is following blindly.
Reported a year ago in the San Jose Mercury News and carried by others including TURN:
Some consumers have been stunned to learn that SmartMeters are mandatory: There’s no way to opt out of getting one. The meters, as well as the wires and pipes that lead up to them, are PG&E property, and the utility says it has the regulatory authority to install and maintain them.
PG&E will eventually show up to customers doors with law enforcement to make sure that the “Smart”Meters are installed. This could become tricky, especially in Watsonville, Santa Cruz County or Fairfax, Ca where city ordinances have been passed banning PG&E from installing the new technology.
A Watsonville building official smacked PG&E with a $100 fine this week for installing a SmartMeter – likely the first citation the utility has received since several California cities began banning the controversial technology.

I happened to stumble upon a SWAT and Bomb Squad training in Santa Rosa, Ca on Nov. 6th. I set up a small make-shift “truth-booth” with camera and tried to politely hand out information. After 3 hours, about 6 packets were taken by officials … better than none. Read the rest of this entry »
On Friday April 9th, at an ACLU awards dinner, Nor Cal Truth was invited to hold a table as one of only a few tables permitted. This was a fortunate situation as the person who was originally invited to hold a table there was not able too. This kind person then offered us half of a table for 9/11 related materials if we would work the other half of the table for her in her absence. Her focus was Bohemian Grove. We said “OK.”
The 2 pictures above are from us getting ready at the event. As what normally happens with a small group of people working a table, taking pictures seems to fall into the unimportant category, as you get busy talking to people and handing out information. I wish we could have had pictures of a more crowded arena and booth, but oh well.
The main goal in my mind was to target the social leaders at the dinner for conversations and interactions. I prepared many packets of useful AE 9/11 Truth material for any and all interested.
Norman Solomon visited Sonoma County on Febuary 19th, 2010. This is the same day that the Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth group held a press conference announcing over 1,000 trained professionals demanding new 9/11 investigation.

Author and activist Norman Solomon came to Healdsburg high school tonight to screen a film, “War Made Easy,” with questions and answers following afterword.
I went to the high school to talk to Norman about 9/11 with my video camera… that video will be up soon.
The film Norman was screening is overall a good film and accurate in many regards, however I had reason to distance myself from it as well.
Retirements will force the turnover of nearly a third of the Sonoma County Superior Court bench, stripping away years of case-handling experience and setting the stage for judicial appointments from Republican Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger.
At least three of 23 judges and commissioners are expected to sit out the June elections and another four have announced they are retiring mid-term, necessitating governor appointments.

The Fourth of July holiday weekend, one of the year’s busiest for mixing driving and drinking, starts today – with local law enforcement officers on the lookout for intoxicated drivers.
“We arrest drunk drivers all the time, but add a holiday with the hot weather, typical barbecue-get-outside-and-drink kind of weekend, it makes for a lot of tragedies,” said Sgt. Ken Savano of Petaluma.
The special enforcement, which will run from this evening to midnight Sunday, involves officers and deputies from 13 Sonoma County law agencies. Their patrol duties will include a focused effort to crack down on speeders, those not wearing seat belts and impaired drivers.
