From We Are Change:

We Are Change NEPA activists Anthony Antonello and Danny Panzella wait at CPAC to ask Donald Rumsfeld if he ever found that $2.3 Trillion that he said was unaccounted for at a press conference the day before 9/11. To his credit, Rumsfeld responds, though with a dubious answer. The former Secretary of Defense explains that the $2.3 Trillion was never truly lost, but rather untracked in a complex accountability system

From the Complete 9/11 Timeline:

In a speech to the Department of Defense, Defense Secretary Rumsfeld announces that the Department of Defense “cannot track $2.3 trillion in transactions.” CBS later calculates that 25 percent of the yearly defense budget is unaccounted for, and quotes a long-time defense budget analyst: “[Their] numbers are pie in the sky. The books are cooked routinely year after year.”

Millions of Messages Sent, but Only Handful Mention Al Qaeda Leader

“Missing” White House emails retrieved from Bush administration records indicate that top Bush Justice Department officials had little interest in the pursuit of Osama bin Laden or Mullah Mohammed Omar, head of the Taliban in Afghanistan.

Under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), prolonged correspondence has pursued “missing” emails between the Bush White House and Bush’s attorney general, deputy attorney general, associate attorney general, Office of Public Affairs, Office of Legal Counsel and Office of the Inspector General, in the Justice Department.

Attorney: OKC Bombing Tapes Appear Edited

September 27, 2009

The story here parallels the plane crash at the Pentagon on 9/11/01. Tapes that would answer many questions are held for years by the authorities, in this case by the FBI.  Once the tapes are turned over by the FBI after years of Freedom of Information Act requests, the tapes dont show ANYTHING. The logical question is then why would they hold the tapes for so long if they DONT show anything? As said, they dont release the tapes for National Security reasons…which raises another question…If all said participants are American citizens, why would holding the tapes from American public digest hurt National Security? Logical Answer: The American people would become more educated about high crimes committed against THEM. -ed

OKLAHOMA CITY – Long-secret security tapes showing the chaos immediately after the 1995 bombing of the Oklahoma City federal building are blank in the minutes before the blast and appear to have been edited, an attorney who obtained the recordings said Sunday.

“The real story is what’s missing,” said Jesse Trentadue, a Salt Lake City attorney who obtained the recordings through the federal Freedom of Information Act as part of an unofficial inquiry he is conducting into the April 19, 1995, bombing that killed 168 people and injured hundreds more.

Trentadue gave copies of the tapes to The Oklahoman newspaper, which posted them online and provided copies to The Associated Press.

The tapes turned over by the FBI came from security cameras various companies had mounted outside office buildings near the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building. They are blank at points before 9:02 a.m., when a truck bomb carrying a 4,000 pound fertilizer-and-fuel-oil bomb detonated in front of the building, Trentadue said.

Four cameras in four different locations going blank at basically the same time on the morning of April 19, 1995. There ain’t no such thing as a coincidence,” Trentadue said.
