Richard Gage, AIA, founder of Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth, visits the National Institute of Standards and Technology after NIST’s lead investigator for the World Trade Center disaster. Shyam Sunder, declines to meet with him. Gage hand-delivers a letter written to Dr. Sunder that raises serious objections to the official explanations for the destruction of the three World Trade Center skyscrapers on 9/11. He is accompanied by AE911Truth members Matt Skarlatos and David Slesinger.

AE911Truth Goes 900
We are very excited today to announce that Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth (AE911Truth.org) is now comprised of 900+ professional architects and engineers supporting the call for a new and real independent investigation.
If we look at the recent growth of this group lead by Richard Gage, AIA, we clearly can predict that they will reach the 1000 mark very soon. In the last month only, AE911Truth has grown exponentially as 100 new professional architects and engineers have join(ed) their ranks.
The efforts this group has undertaken (for) the past 3 years are astonishing and the impact of their work cannot be underestimated. These are nearly (and soon over) 1000 professionals who understand from a scientific standpoint that something was very wrong on 9/11 and that we need to investigate the possibility that all 3 towers that collapsed that day, were destroyed by controlled-demolition with the use of explosives. NIST never wanted to investigate this possibility. They never wanted to look for traces of explosives. But they have recently been found by a group of scientists. The curtain before the loaded gun of 9/11 has dropped. Unignited chips of nanothermite have been found in dust samples of the WTC collapses.
AE911Truth is not afraid to look at the real scientific evidence, unlike NIST. AE911Truth is not afraid of looking at the pools of molten iron and at the free-fall acceleration of the collapses. Unlike NIST.
It is time that we all unite behind the Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth and support them as much as we can. We ask you today to support their upcoming projects financially. Their recent activities have proven to be very effective as more and more professional A/E’s join their call for a new investigation. We know they can’t do it without our support and we also know how much they can accomplish with it. We also ask you all to contact professional architects and engineers in your area and let them know about AE911truth.

From Commonwealth Club, a New Jersey Mosque, Real Change Conference, to We Demand Change Conference
Richard Gage, AIA, founder and CEO of the non-profit Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth (AE911Truth), presented a 40-minute version of the two-hour presentation 9/11: Blueprint for Truth to a sold-out crowd at the prestigious Commonwealth Club of California in San Francisco on Tuesday, September 8th, which was also live-streamed on AE911Truth’s website. This event kicked off a very full week of engagements for the 8th anniversary of 9/11.
John Sutter, a member of the Commonwealth Club and an AE911Truth petition signatory, worked tirelessly behind the scenes to negotiate this strategic and opportune breakthrough. After the event was initially canceled due to its controversy, he worked diligently to restore this event, and after an internal battle at the club, he fortunately prevailed. The standing ovation received after Gage’s presentation confirmed his instincts that the event would be well-received.

Upcoming Events for October 2009
A packed itinerary is scheduled for the months ahead. Mr. Gage retraces some of Paul Revere’s steps in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, where on Oct 9 he will sound the alarm now about all that we have learned concerning controlled demolitions and nanothermite at the World Trade Center. Jim Hoffman, creator of the encyclopedic 911research.com, wtc7.net, and 911review.com websites, will join Mr. Gage at this events and others in the following days. On the morning of the 10th a potluck brunch will provide an opportunity to form closer bonds with our colleagues in this beautiful coastal town. For information please email William here.
On the evening of Oct 10, Mr. Gage will speak at the First Churches of North Hampton, and again on the following morning there will be a potluck brunch. Local event coordinators are inviting architects and engineers in the area. For information please email David here.
Perhaps the highlight of this tour will come the next day, October 11, when Mr. Gage will have the rare honor of addressing an audience at the historic First Parish of Cambridge, where George Washington worshiped in 1775. The General Marquis de La Fayette was welcomed here in 1825, and Ralph Waldo Emerson gave his Phi Beta Kappa oration, The American Scholar, here in 1837. Mr. Gage’s historic speech will be videotaped and perhaps webcast for the world to see and hear the truth about the day that changed our lives forever. President Washington would be happy. Have you noticed the numbers recently at Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth? The numbers have been increasing steadily day by day.
Now we have 879 certified architects and engineers demanding a new investigation into the events of 9/11/01.
This number will only continue to grow as we only have room to grow exponentially from here on out.
Congratulations to Richard Gage, and the entire team of volunteers and staff at Architects and Engineers for 9/11 truth. Congratulations to all the courageous signers of the petition for a new investigation, and to the students and other people who have expressed the same interest. Thank you for your determination and will for truth.

One of the crucial technical disputes in American history, perhaps second only to global warming, is underway. It pits hundreds of government technicians who say the World Trade Center buildings were brought down by airplane impact against hundreds of professional architects and building engineers who insist that the Twin Towers could never have collapsed solely due to the planes and are calling for a new independent investigation. It is a fight that is not going away and is likely to get louder as more building trade professionals sign on to one side or the other.
Better than anyone, David Ray Griffin understands the “enormous importance” of Richard Gage, the Bay Area architect and staunch Republican who founded Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth (AE911 Truth).
Griffin, the controversial retired Santa Barbara philosophy professor/theologian (Claremont School of Theology), is regarded as the leading investigative force within what is called the 9/11 Truth movement, with seven 9/11 books to his credit, including his bestseller The New Pearl Harbor. Although sometimes challenged (about accuracy), until Gage appeared, Griffin found his greatest stumbling block in public appearances to be this question: If his analysis was true — that two planes could not have brought down three World Trade Center (WTC) buildings without the aid of pre-planted explosives — why didn’t a single U.S. architect or building engineer publicly support him? Now, in three years, Gage has signed up 804 architects and structural engineers, some from top firms, who challenge the official version of the buildings’ collapses.
Notably, the FBI’s Counterterrorism Division has acknowledged that AE911’s core evidence deserves — and will get — FBI scrutiny. In a December 2008 letter, Assistant Director Michael J. Heimbach assessed AE911’s presentation as “backed by thorough research and analysis.”

Among the nearly 800 architects and engineers who have signed our petition comes one architect formerly with William L. Pereira & Associates. One doesn’t get much closer to the elements of high-rise design than with the pyramid-shaped Transamerica Building in San Francisco. Stephen Barasch, AIA, our Featured Petitioner, was a member of the architectural design team for that 48-floor structure. Barasch was also instrumental in the Mark Hopkins Hotel architectural design, also in San Francisco.
After leaving William L. Pereira & Associates, Barasch founded his own architectural firm, Barasch Architects & Associates, located in San Luis Obispo, CA, with an office in Pasadena, CA. The firm was contracted by the City of Los Angeles following the Northridge earthquake to characterize the seismic response of 27 buildings to the waves emanating from the Northridge epicenter.
Barasch made the following statement upon signing the AE911Truth Petition: “After reviewing the data presented by the Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth organization and through my independent assessment of the data I have reviewed, and based on my 40+ years of professional experience, I have concluded that it would be nearly impossible for any of the principal World Trade Center Towers to collapse in the manner or in the recorded time frame as a result of any fire or explosion caused solely by the impact of terrorist-guided aircraft alone. Braced steel frame buildings simply don’t collapse in a symmetrical manner with a uniform plume of debris in 102 or 56 minutes respectively with modern structural design standards and state-of-the-art life-safety systems which must be continuously inspected by local building inspectors based on ever increasing performance standards centered on human survival.”

Near the end of the video I posted yesterday I pointed out a projectile that changed directions midair while trailing white smoke. This view of the destruction of the South Tower of the World Trade Center displays a remarkable number of features that support the interpretation that it was destroyed by explosives. I want to acknowledge the tremendous service provided by Nate Flach who serves as the defacto “video archivist” for AE911Truth. He is the one who first called this video to my attention, because of the huge number of simultaneous squibs on the west side of the building above the impact point.
