Former Senator Mike Gravel Presents Draft for a California Ballot Initiative to Get a Real 911 Truth Commission

Senator Gravel read the “Pentagon Papers” into the Senate record in 1971, and thus helped bring an end to the Viet Nam war. Currently, over 1300 architects and engineers are calling for a new investigation of “9/11.” [See http://ae911truth.org/] Senator Gravel and concerned citizens are joining together to raise funds to file an initiative in California to enact a 9/11 Truth Commission law. The goal is a new commission untainted by politics and with subpoena powers.
The main players in releasing the Pentagon Papers were Daniel Ellsberg and Senator Mike Gravel.
Ellsberg is, of course, the former military analyst and famed whistleblower who smuggled the Pentagon Papers out of the Rand Corporation.
Senator Gravel is the person who read the Pentagon Papers into the Congressional Record. This act made the papers public record, so that they could not be censored by the government.
Ellsberg and Gravel are receiving a lot of media attention right now for their support of Wikileaks.
But little attention has been paid to Ellsberg and Gravel’s support for a new 9/11 investigation.

At these events, Erik Lawyer, a 14-year Seattle Firefighter and founder of Firefighters for 9/11 Truth, and Richard Gage, AIA, Architect and founder of Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth will expose many of the 9/11 myths in an interactive, dynamic multimedia presentation. Using well-documented forensic evidence, news footage and eyewitness testimony, they will address and correct myths such as: “The fires were hot enough from ordinary jet fuel to weaken the structural steel; The floors of the towers collapsed like pancakes;” and “there were only two skyscrapers to collapse on 9/11.” Demolition contractor Tom Sullivan will present why he “has no doubt that World Trade Center Building 7 was a timed explosive implosion event whose destruction was certainly not due to fire as reported.” Mr. Sullivan worked for Controlled Demolitions Inc., the top rated explosive demolition firm in the world owned by the Loizeaux family, during the years surrounding 9/11 as an explosive loader for three years. He placed explosives in many buildings to prepare them for demolition.

Iran’s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has written to UN chief Ban Ki-moon, asking him to launch an investigation into the September 11, 2001 attacks on the United States, news reports said on Monday.
“The minimum expectation from your excellency is to set up an independent and trusted fact-finding group to comprehensively investigate the real factors behind September 11,” Ahmadinejad said in the text of the letter carried by official news agencies.
They did not say when the letter was sent.
The hardliner, who in March dismissed 9/11 as a “big lie,” said in the letter that the attacks “were the main pretext for attacks” by NATO on Afghanistan and Iraq.

As we head into the final seven days of our campaign, we will be contacting some key council members whose support we will be counting on to make the City Council address Building 7, The Salomon Brothers building. Don’t expect immediate results, but do expect the seeds we are all are planting together to bloom as public opinion continues to shift in our favor.

Again, there are two simple rules for participating in this campaign:
A new movement to reinvestigate the 9/11 attacks is gaining pace in the US. With major public support, 12 towns are set to decide whether to ask the federal government for a new independent probe.
New York is dubbed as the Empire State for its wealth and resources and is rightfully regarded as America’s most famous city, a beacon of fashion, finance and fast paced action.
New Hampshire is the Granite State of so-called self sufficiency. Less flash and cash, most famous for hosting the first U.S. presidential primary.
New York and New Hampshire are more than 200 miles apart, but for all that distance, the two US locations intersect on one issue: the 9/11 attacks. While it was in Manhattan where three buildings fell, the people of Keene, New Hampshire are pushing for a new probe to find out why.
The 80-minute press conference included presentations by
Richard Gage, founder of AE911Truth, who summarized how the facts support demolition being the cause of the World Trade Center buildings 1,2 and 7, not fire;
David Ray Griffin, author of “The Mysterious Collapse of WTC 7″, talking about the questionable science of NIST, concluding that they lied and are party to the cover-up;
Steven E. Jones, professor Emeritus from BYU, who talked about evidence found in the WTC dust that can only be explained by intentional demolition; and
Eric Lawyer, founder of Firefighters for 911 Truth, who pointed out the many ways in which long-established protocols for handling crime scenes involving fire and building collapse were egregiously violated, consistent with a cover-up.
Anti-war groups have long been regarded as deliberate gatekeepers to the 9/11 Truth (and anti-war) movement. But in 2009 VFP membership mushroomed with savvy new members who realized it wasn’t enough to protest the war if you didn’t protest the government lie that allowed it to happen. And most VFP members know the “Tonkin Resolution” was a deliberate lie – aka: “False Flag”.
By 2008, an international team of scientists had published volumes of conclusive evidence for “explosive demolition” of the Twin Towers and WTC-7. This hard evidence and admissions by the 9/11 commission that they were “set up to fail” moved VFP members and leadership to pass a resolution to press for a new 9/11 investigation during their 2009 annual meeting.
