MSNBC Carries Florida-Saudi-9/11 Journalism!!!

March 15, 2012

Nor Cal Truth    Mar 15, 2012

MSNBC has carried a couple of articles in the past few days relating to the important Florida-Saudi-9/11 connections. Mishandling investigations, cover-ups, Suadi support of 9/11, Senators wanting more answers, US complicity….this is big news!

Please visit all original sources for the full length articles, and to show MSNBC that you care that they covered these important and unresolved issues.

March 12: Saudi who Left Fla. Before 9/11 Considered bin Laden a ‘Hero’

A Saudi man who triggered an FBI investigation after he and his family left their Sarasota, Fla., area home and moved overseas two weeks before 9/11 considered Osama bin Laden a “hero” and may have known some of the hijackers, an informant told the FBI in 2004.

The informant also told authorities that the Saudi, Abdulazziz al-Hijji, once introduced him to Adnan El Shukrijumah – another former Florida resident and suspected top al-Qaida operative who today has a $5 million bounty on his head.

Al-Hijji’s name made headlines in September 2011 when The Miami Herald reported on a counterterrorism source’s disclosure of a previously unknown FBI-led probe that followed the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks on New York and Washington — one that pointed to a possible Saudi support operation for the hijackers in Florida.

The Curious Case of United Airlines Flight 23 on 9/11

November 21, 2011

Brian Romanoff     Nor Cal Truth   Nov 21, 2011

Perhaps it is nothing.

The 9/11 Commission Final Report did not mention it.

The FBI investigated it and interviewed many people, several different times. FBI officials never contested the media reports, nor did it ever release any findings of its investigation publicly.

Perhaps it was not important enough to warrant a note or comment ….. perhaps it is.

During the 10 year anniversary of the attacks, ABC brought us the first-in-a-long-time mainstream news report of the mystery:

UNITED AIRLINES FLIGHT 23

UAL flight 23 was scheduled to depart New York’s JFK airport at 8:30am September 11th, 2001, bound for Los Angeles. Piloting flight 23 was Tom Mannello with First Officer Carol Timmons.

Flight 23 was delayed, but it eventually taxied out to the tarmac to wait behind a line of other planes.

During this time, the first and second hijacked planes would strike the North Tower and South Tower at 8:46am and 9:03 am, respectively.

Apparently the pilots of flight 23 overheard another pilot, who was sharing the same frequency, say a  plane had crashed into the World Trade Center. Expecting a long wait, Pilot Tom Mannello shut the engines off and told passengers a mechanical problem was holding them up.

It would not be long before flight 23 would receive its first warnings from an alert United employee.

United Airlines dispatcher Ed Ballinger started to relay text messages to the planes for which he was in control of, 16 flights in total, including both UAL flight 23 and 93 as soon as he had an idea of what was happening.

9/11 Commission MFR (Memorandum for the Record) #040200009, from Ballingers time in front of the Commission, states that he sent a series of warnings to the planes in his control(download PDF).  The following timeline is for the warnings UAL flight 23 received from Ballinger:

  • 9:12 am Received a message to the effect that a “ground stop of all aircraft” was in process
  • 9:20 am “Beware any cockpit intrusion…..Two aircraft in New York hit Trade Center buildings”
  • 9:24 am “Beware any cockpit intrusion…..Two aircraft in New York hit Trade Center buildings”
  • 9:32 am “High Security Alert. Secure cockpit.”

The pilots of UAL flight 23 took heed to Ballinger’s warnings. First Officer Carol Timmons started to barricade the door with to the cockpit with luggage, while Pilot Tom Manello held the crash-axe for protection.

Captain Manello relayed the warnings to the flight crew, stating to not open the cockpit doors – “no exceptions!” Shortly after, the cockpit received a call from an attendant on the plane stating she thought “it was unusual” that a group of four Arab men were sitting in first-class.  The warnings from Ballinger to the pilots of flight 23 did not contain any specifics of the hijackers appearance, to be sure.

The smoke from the World Trade Center was visible from the plane. JFK airport was in a declared emergency and shut down while UAL flight 23 was seventh in line to take off. The pilots, having already received warnings from Ed Ballinger and the in-flight call from the attendant, announced they were heading back to the gate.

As the plane headed back for the gate the group of Middle Easterners apparently got up and began consulting with each other, refusing orders from attendants to go back to their seats. An argument ensued between the men and the flight attendants, prompting a call from the plane to airport security. The men were reported to have insisted that they “have got to be on this plane.”

Off The Radar: Private Planes Hidden From Public View

April 9, 2010

source: Raw Story  April 9, 2010

Televangelist Kenneth Copeland faced a congressional inquiry after flying his ministry’s tax-exempt jet to Maui and the Fiji Islands.

South Dakota Gov. Mike Rounds has been questioned about his use of state planes for political and personal trips.

And after getting a $180 billion federal bailout, the insurance giant AIG caught flak for its fleet of corporate jets.

To prevent the public from seeing where they fly, all have over the years turned to a little-known program that lets private plane owners block their flights from view in the government’s system for tracking air traffic.

The owners don’t have to meet any test to keep their flights secret. They merely submit a request to the National Business Aviation Association , a trade group that lobbied to set up the program on the grounds that secrecy is justified to protect business deals and the security of executives.

9/11 Timeline Updates on Feb 2: Air National Guard on 9/11, The Many Deaths of Osama bin Laden

March 5, 2010

source: History Commons – 9/11 Timeline  Mar 5, 2010

After a hiatus of a couple of weeks, dozens of new entries have been published in the 9/11 Timeline over the last few days. The largest chunk of them covers events at the DC Air National Guard, based at Andrews Air Force Base, on the day of the attacks. Initially, officers assumed that the first crash into the WTC was an accident. However, after the second crash, Andrews learned the Secret Service wanted fighters launched. Although the Secret Service then said it didn’t on the phone, pilots started overwriting recent exercise data on their flight disks.

The base’s intelligence officer was unable to get any information on the crisis, but fighters on a training mission learned of the attacks during refuelling around 9:30 a.m., when the Secret Service called and said that it would like some fighters after all. Missiles at the base began to be unpacked, but the commanding officer, Brigadier General David Wherley, wanted orders from a senior official before he would launch and called the Secret Service again.

The first of the fighters returning from training landed at 10:14 a.m., but did not take off again. Wherley discussed the rules of engagement and apparently then wanted to launch planes in response to an aircraft supposedly approaching Washington. One of the returning fighters was dispatched to look for the plane, but, finding nothing, landed again ten minutes later.

AGAIN!! Fighter Jets Scrambled Because of Unruly Airline Passenger

January 9, 2010

The bullshit-meter just blew up…. I will point out that on 9/11, fighter jets NEVER came for an hour and a half!  According to 9/11 Commission hearing testimony by the Secretary of Transportation at the time Norman Mineta, top officials including Vice President Dick Cheney were aware that another plane was incoming and hostile. -Brian

In the second such incident in three days, fighter jets escorted a diverted commercial flight on Friday after an unruly passenger caused alarm onboard.

The military sent up two F-16s in response to reports of an unruly passenger aboard AirTran Flight 39, the North American Aerospace Defense Command said in a statement.

The passenger had become belligerent and refused to leave the restroom, airline spokesman Tad Hutcheson told CNN on Friday. The passenger appeared to be intoxicated, he said.

Fighter Jets Escort Plane After Passenger Becomes Unruly

January 7, 2010

Try to tell me this is not a fear-based police-state consumer control-grid hyped out of rationality by big media and “intelligence” agencies. Courtesy of false flags like the Christmas Day plane incident and the need to further break us, and our liberties down, with legislation like the Patriot Act and Military Commissions Act. This tops last week lunacy of honey shutting down an airport and making”two people complain of feeling ill.” Brian

Portland, Oregon – Two F-15 fighter jets escorted a passenger jet that had been headed for Hawaii back to Portland International Airport in Oregon after a passenger in coach became “uncooperative,” an airline official said Wednesday.

Hawaiian Airlines Flight 39 took off from Portland at 10:10 a.m. with 231 passengers and a crew of 10 when — 90 minutes into the flight — its captain decided to turn around the Boeing 767, said Keoni Wagner, the airline’s vice president of public affairs.

The fighter jets intercepted the plane at 1 p.m., North American Aerospace Defense Command said in a written statement.

It landed at 1:16 p.m. without further incident, the TSA said.

Upon the plane’s return, the passenger — a 56-year-old Salem, Oregon, man — was escorted from the plane with his female companion without incident, the FBI and the Port of Portland said in a joint statement.

The FBI said it was not releasing his name because he had not been charged.

The 90-Minute Stand Down on 9/11: Why Was the Secret Service’s Early Request for Fighter Jets Ignored?

December 21, 2009

by Shoestring,  source: 9/11 Blogger

Shortly after the second World Trade Center tower was hit, at 9:03 a.m. on September 11, 2001, an officer at Andrews Air Force Base, just outside Washington, DC, was notified that the Secret Service wanted fighter jets launched over the nation’s capital. It was now obvious the U.S. was under terrorist attack, and Washington would have been an obvious potential target. And yet the Secret Service’s request came to nothing.

No fighters had taken off from Andrews by 9:37 a.m., when the Pentagon was hit. Nor had any launched by the time Flight 93 apparently crashed in Pennsylvania, shortly after 10:00 a.m., while flying toward Washington. In fact, fighters did not launch from Andrews until over 90 minutes after the second attack in New York. The first fully armed fighters did not launch from there until more than two hours after that attack. So why was the Secret Service’s early request for help not acted upon? Why did fighter jets only take off from this massive Air Force base to defend the capital well after the morning’s attacks had ended?

The “Post-9/11 World” Is A Detriment To Humanity

December 20, 2009

by Jon Gold,  source: 9/11 Blogger

  • We are fighting illegal preemptive wars against three countries. Afghanistan, Iraq, and Pakistan. The resulting wars have caused well over 1,000,000 casualties. Preemptive war is illegal according to the Nuremberg Charter, and the United Nations charter. These wars are destabilizing the entire Middle East, and causing anti-American sentiment throughout the world.
  • In America, the Constitution is being forgotten with the passage of bills like the Patriot Act, the Military Commissions Act, and the John Warner National Defense Authorization Act. Americans are forced to wonder if their conversations are being monitored through the use of illegal wiretapping. The freedom of the press, and the right to peacefully assemble is being discarded.
  • Executive Power within the United States is being expanded to the point of near-dictatorship, and accountability for the actions of the Executive, and other members of Government is non-existent.
  • A constant state of fear is the norm.
  • Billions upon billions are being spent on the previously mentioned wars, and things that are needed for the people are being forgotten about.
  • Soldiers are dying, are being subjected to multiple tours of duty, are being exposed to depleted uranium and chemical weapons, are suffering from post traumatic stress disorder, are committing suicide at an astounding rate, are being fed propaganda in order to murder innocents, and are having their families destroyed.

Asia Digest Tells the Truth About 9/11

December 7, 2009

Source: AE911Truth.org

By Jeffrey Orling

Dec 6, 2009

Half way around the world in a publication from Sri Lanka, November’s edition of Asia Digest, the feature story is: “9/11 — Has America been Told The Truth?”

Asia Digest begins their feature with a brief introduction by Richard de Zoysa which sets the stage for the two following articles by Johnny Christy which include a thorough presentation of the mysteries and problems with the conventional story told.

Christy’s first article is titled September 11, 2001 — Was America Under Attack or Was the World Being Hoodwinked? The author asks the question, What really happened (the story the world was told)? He then follows with a bullet list of points; What’s Wrong With This Story? Read the rest of this entry »

David Ray Griffin’s Review of John Farmer’s “The Ground Truth”

A Deeply Flawed Book

November 27, 2009

Although John Farmer’s “The Ground Truth” has attracted a lot of favorable attention, it is a deeply flawed book, containing misleading claims and providing an extremely one-sided account of 9/11.

Much of the attention received by the book has been prompted by misleading claims made by Farmer and his publisher. The book’s dust-jacket calls it the “definitive account” of 9/11, but it actually deals almost entirely with only one question about that day: why the airliners were not intercepted.

Also, the book’s subtitle calls it “the untold story” of 9/11 and its dust-jacket says that it “breathtakingly revises” our understanding of that day. In reality, however, it simply provides new support for the story told about the planes in “The 9/11 Commission Report,” which appeared in 2004, and in two publications that appeared in 2006: Thomas Kean and Lee Hamilton’s book “Without Precedent,” and Michael Bronner’s essay in “Vanity Fair.” Read the rest of this entry »

Clarification from Richard Gage AIA regarding his review of “National Security Alert”

December 4, 2009

Source: 911Blogger.com

Earlier this year I wrote a review of CIT’s “National Security Alert” in which I recommended that we all take a closer at the eyewitness accounts supporting the “North path” of American Airlines Flight 77 at the Pentagon. CIT’s investigation includes detailed in-person interviews which appeared quite compelling. As AE911Truth’s focus is the destruction of three buildings at WTC, I didn’t perform an exhaustive review of CIT’s material and methods. My quick statement (see below) should not be portrayed as an endorsement of CIT’s conclusion that the airliner “flew over” the Pentagon.

20 Minutes with the President

December 1, 2009

This is Christo Garcia’s adaptation of Charlie Sheen’s script “20 Minutes with the President.” Opening with the prophetic statements of Presidents Eisenhower and Kennedy about the New World Order’s “Ruthless Conspiracy”, the tight script will illuminate how truly absurd the “Official Story” of 9/11 is. Hopefully, this film will help re-invigorate the 9/11 Truth movement, and inspire other filmmakers to create their own films about 9/11 Truth.

Awareness of Military Cell at FAA Headquarters of Events on Day of 9/11

October 20, 2009

source: 9/11 Blogger

As people who follow the issue closely are aware, there has been some debate over the involvement of a group of military officers stationed at FAA headquarters–generally referred to as the “military cell”–in the events of 9/11. Although I don’t mean to recap the whole debate here, the basic jist is that the 9/11 Commission claimed that the military were unaware of the hijacking of United 93 until a few minutes before it crashed, but what about the military cell–were they too unaware of what was going on?

Yesterday, I was reading through the commission documents we have posted at the 911 Document Archive at Scribd , and I came across a transcript of FAA communications on the day of 9/11. You can find the following at page 59 (approximately 9:45 a.m. – 9:50 a.m.):

MR. : Tactical Net–

MR. : And this is Cleveland Center. Who’s up?

MR. : It is the Command Center with about five or six people listening.

MR. : Okay. Mr. [inaudible], the chief, just asked if we have any military up or not? Are we pursuing that? We’d like to be able to track this guy (United 93) so we know what’s going on, especially when we lose a transponder.

MR. : We have been in contact with the military cell here in the building and they’re working the issue. I’m not sure where they are with

Obviously, this does not prove that the military cell at the FAA was aware of the hijacking of United 93 (still less that they passed it on to other elements in the military), but a contemporary reference stating their involvement is certainly interesting evidence.
