Tom Sullivan used to work for Controlled Demolitions Inc. On 9/11 and everyday since, his experience with CDI tells him that controlled demolitions were used on 9/11 to demolish World Trade Center #1, #2 and 7.

This past weekend, 5/8/2010, Firefighters for 9/11 Truth and Architects and Engineers for 9/11 truth held a conference in the San Francisco area to discuss their work. One of the guest speakers was a gentleman by the name of Tom Sullivan who had previously worked for Controlled Demolition, Inc. (CDI), owned and operated by the Loizeaux family.
Tom Sullivan worked for CDI about 10 years ago before and during 9/11, and he worked for CDI for almost 3 years. His roll with CDI was Site Photographer/Explosives Technician. He is also licensed by the FDNY to handle explosives. His explosives tech. duties included placing explosives in buildings to prepare them for demolition.
Sullivan worked on projects such as Seattle King Dome, Three Rivers Stadium, Philadelphia Naval Hospital, Key Span Gas Holders, among others. He also went to high-school with Doug Loizeaux of CDI as well. Sullivan has also published work in the book “Implosion” published by Black Dog Publishing.

At these events, Erik Lawyer, a 14-year Seattle Firefighter and founder of Firefighters for 9/11 Truth, and Richard Gage, AIA, Architect and founder of Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth will expose many of the 9/11 myths in an interactive, dynamic multimedia presentation. Using well-documented forensic evidence, news footage and eyewitness testimony, they will address and correct myths such as: “The fires were hot enough from ordinary jet fuel to weaken the structural steel; The floors of the towers collapsed like pancakes;” and “there were only two skyscrapers to collapse on 9/11.” Demolition contractor Tom Sullivan will present why he “has no doubt that World Trade Center Building 7 was a timed explosive implosion event whose destruction was certainly not due to fire as reported.” Mr. Sullivan worked for Controlled Demolitions Inc., the top rated explosive demolition firm in the world owned by the Loizeaux family, during the years surrounding 9/11 as an explosive loader for three years. The Swiss MYSTERIES magazine, print edition 3/2010, covers the story of nanothermite and a dispute between Harrit and german “debunker” Dr. Gunnar Ries. Ries made up a blog back in early 2010 and made a bunch of claims why the study wasn’t that good at all- and Prof. Harrit responded to his claims. Ries did suggest to do his own testing on the chips, if he get some.
MYSTERIES also asked swiss engineers who once claimed that WTC 7 was controlled demolition again on their standing.
I have revisited and extended some of my early measurements of high speed massive projectiles from the World Trade Center on 9/11. The results for the three projectiles measured: 56 mi/hr, 45 mi/hr, and 78 mi/hr. I don’t claim this is smoking-gun evidence of explosive demolition all by itself, but it is part of the puzzle and it is more compatible with the explosive demolition hypothesis than simple gravitational collapse.

Update #1 – I have tried to introduce with why I see this as an important development in the story of 9/11 due to conversations with friends of mine. Though it is really late at night now for me to try to write, here it goes:
There are only a few that know what is happening behind the smoke and mirrors. The fact that not even the members of Al Qaeda expected the towers to fall might say a lot. The towers did not fall from fire, we know that. The towers did not fall from the planes, we know that too. Building 7 is only emphasis of these facts.
The CIA has detainees that are surprised at the towers collapse on 9/11.
Infact the world was surprised that the towers fell, not just Al Qaeda,
Ultimately al Qaeda was never in full control of the operation known as 9/11.
The concept of a building the size of WTC 1 or 2 being turned to pieces by a plane’s impact could not possibly be in the mind of a hijacker: It is not possible. Did the USS Cole sink? Our defense being another issue altogether, everyone knows there were plenty of warnings to intelligence agencies – so Al Qaeda never fooled anyone, really
So there they are, sitting in jail cells illegally - the dupes and the duped, unknowingly grunts of a front organization, bewildered, just as all of the world was on 9/11/01, as to how the towers fell.
Osama bin Laden had no idea the U.S. would hit al-Qaeda as hard as it has since the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks, a former bin Laden associate tells WTOP in an exclusive interview.
“I’m 100 percent sure they had no clue about what was going to happen,” says Noman Benotman, who was head of the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group in the summer of 2000.
Benotman’s assessment is backed up by a former Central Intelligence Agency officer, who was active in the fight against al-Qaeda. The officer, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, says “several captured terrorists have said publicly that al-Qaeda never expected the towers to fall. Their goal was to frighten people and impact the U.S. economy, so they really didn’t plan for the massive response the U.S. launched.”

“An Insurance Policy that had been set up for the WTC Complex only weeks before the Twin Towers went down” says Investigative Journalist Laurence De Mello.
Larry Silverstein – “The Harder I Worked The Luckier I Became”
De Mello continues, “In 1980, Jewish real estate tycoon Silverstein, won a bid from the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey to construct 7 World Trade Center to the north of the WTC. Building 7 World Trade Center was situated above a (Con Ed) power substation, which imposed unique structural design constraints.”
When the building first opened in 1987, Silverstein had difficulties attracting tenants. In 1988, Salomon Brothers signed a long-term lease, and became the main tenants of the building.
But this building was also losing money. Silverstein was interested in acquiring the entire World Trade Center complex, and put in a bid when the Port Authority put it up for lease in 2000. (he had waited over 20 years for this!).

Discussion to Paper (3 February, 2009 – final 3 June, 2009)
I have read subject article by Bazant, Le, Greening and Benson (BLGB) with great interest and would like to make the following observations:
There is no need to describe the destruction of WTC1 using differential equations. Simple math + observations of videos prove the BLGB model and paper wrong.
BLGB suggests that upper part C (of WTC1) drops on the lower structure of WTC1 – part A – that is one-way crushed in 97 steps until ground.
Fig. 1 – The Bazant & Co crush-down theory applied to a structure consisting of five assemblies of structural elements – one upper part C and four lower parts A; All parts consists 95% of air. Each part has height h. Thus total structure has height 5 h.
The 80-minute press conference included presentations by
Richard Gage, founder of AE911Truth, who summarized how the facts support demolition being the cause of the World Trade Center buildings 1,2 and 7, not fire;
David Ray Griffin, author of “The Mysterious Collapse of WTC 7″, talking about the questionable science of NIST, concluding that they lied and are party to the cover-up;
Steven E. Jones, professor Emeritus from BYU, who talked about evidence found in the WTC dust that can only be explained by intentional demolition; and
Eric Lawyer, founder of Firefighters for 911 Truth, who pointed out the many ways in which long-established protocols for handling crime scenes involving fire and building collapse were egregiously violated, consistent with a cover-up.
The week of February the 22nd through the 28th regarding news relating to 9/11, summarized.
The ripple effects of the Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth press conference are continuing to be seen. (Last weeks news here.) The Washington Times carried an article entitled “Explosive News“, regarding the questions that AE911Truth brings to the table. The Examiner is another outlet that carried the AE911Truth press conference. Canadian and Russian have picked up on the story of over 1000 architects and engineers calling for a new investigation into 9/11 as well.
It has only been 1 week since the conference announcing the 1,000 and they’re already at 1,080 architects and engineers! (Probably more by the time I’m done writing this. ) One observant fellow noticed that in the 18 days of February before the conference 23 architects or engineers were added to the list, while in the 10 days of February after the conference 38 newly verified architects or engineers signed on for a new investigation. That is some good news!

I comment here on the nanotechnology aspect of Jerry Mazza’s masterful review (Rock Creek Free Press, January 2010, page 6) of David Ray Griffin’s extraordinary 2009 book, The Mysterious Collapse of World Trade Center 7: Why the Final Official Report about 9/11 is Unscientific and False.
By the time we (Dorion Sagan – my eldest son and Sciencewriters partner – and I) met David Griffin in 2003 in his native habitat at the Center for Process Studies (which is on the campus of the Claremont School of Theology in southern California), he had written over two dozen books, none of which I had ever read or even heard of. We immensely enjoyed a three-day scientific-philosophical meeting on the Darwinian-evolutionary view of life that had been organized by Griffin’s sage mentor, the sweet-tempered but razor sharp, Jimmy Carter-sounding, octogenarian professor emeritus and director, John B. Cobb, Jr. The results of this fascinating meeting have since been published (Cobb, ed. 2008).
