Today is the first day of our 4-week campaign urging the Manhattan District Attorney to investigate the destruction of World Trade Center Building 7. To bring Building 7 fully to the attention of the District Attorney, our goal is to flood the DA’s office with 1,000 letters and faxes per week, because anything short of 1,000 will fail to show just how widespread the desire for a new investigation is. We are counting on you to take part in this gigantic grassroots effort no matter who you are or how busy you are. The good thing is:
You will only be asked to send one letter per week!
And, at the beginning of each week, we will report how many letters and faxes were sent the previous week! This way we all get to know whether or not we reached our goal.
The censorship of the 9/11 false flag seems to have slightly cracked lately, especially outside the United States, with Richard Gage, AIA, presenting the World Trade Center demolitions to large audiences and getting favorable media reviews in Japan, Australia, New Zealand and Canada, and the Iranian government requesting that the United Nations investigate 9/11.
Evidently, our ultra-corrupt–or ultra-frigthened–congress and president are not ready to swallow 9/11 Truth. Some of them even claim ignorance of Building 7′s structural failure. But how about forcing them to take a few baby steps? Like having them face the fact that any high school kid will agree that the official technical investigation into the structural failure of Building 7 is less than satisfactory?
On Friday April 9th, at an ACLU awards dinner, Nor Cal Truth was invited to hold a table as one of only a few tables permitted. This was a fortunate situation as the person who was originally invited to hold a table there was not able too. This kind person then offered us half of a table for 9/11 related materials if we would work the other half of the table for her in her absence. Her focus was Bohemian Grove. We said “OK.”
The 2 pictures above are from us getting ready at the event. As what normally happens with a small group of people working a table, taking pictures seems to fall into the unimportant category, as you get busy talking to people and handing out information. I wish we could have had pictures of a more crowded arena and booth, but oh well.
The main goal in my mind was to target the social leaders at the dinner for conversations and interactions. I prepared many packets of useful AE 9/11 Truth material for any and all interested.
“Field Notes on the 9/11 Moment: Transformations in Community and Country”
The ten-year anniversary of the September 11, 2001 attacks on American soil encourages us to consider how the events of that day have framed how we address race, religion and national origin in the policy and public realms. The 9/11 moment has shaped American domestic and foreign policy, and has transformed individuals and communities both in the United States and abroad. Here in the United States, Arab Americans, South Asians, Muslims, and Sikhs have endured backlash, targeted law enforcement, and various forms of racial, religious and national origin profiling at the hands of the general public, the media, and the U.S. government in the name of national security. Nor were the repercussions of 9-11 felt only within the United States; Muslim communities around the world have experienced unprecedented backlash since 9/11.
Guest Editor Deepa Iyer, Executive Director of South Asian Americans Leading Together (SAALT), and the editorial staff of Race/Ethnicity: Multidisciplinary Global Contexts invite submissions for the third issue of its fourth volume, entitled “Field Notes on the 9/11 Moment: Transformations in Community and Country .”
We especially welcome analysis, critiques, reflections, and documentation by activists, community-based organizations, and others who responded to the crisis that enveloped the South Asian, Muslim, Sikh, and Arab American communities in the wake of the terrorist attacks.

Everyone, Please call for the final day of this campaign. It is fast, easy and painless. You might be the 1,000th call, we need you!
Fellow Advocates:
No one is answering the phone at the Speaker’s legislative office and there is no way to leave a message. Not a problem. Please contact her district office at (212) 564-7757 (212) 564-7757. Please see below for additional instructions sent out earlier this morning.

Fellow Advocates:
Today is a special day. For the last three weeks, your phone calls and faxes have worked like a steam roller, paving the way for NYC CAN and courageous council members to begin to raise the discussion about opening a real investigation into the collapse of World Trade Center Building 7. Today we bring this marathon effort to a close by making a statement that will resonate through City Hall.
Rather than contacting three council members, we are contacting only one – the most powerful member of the City Council, the Speaker, Christine Quinn. Our goal is to reach 1,000 phone calls, which will amount to one phone call every 30 seconds. This tactic is not arbitrary – in order to get through to Christine Quinn we need a gigantic show of support, and it only takes two minutes of your time.
Today we head into our seventh meeting with a member of the New York City Council. Your phone calls and faxes made this meeting happen, and they are making a tremendous difference in paving the way for honest and courageous council members to raise the discussion with their colleagues on the City Council. If you want to get glimpse of the action, scroll down to the bottom of this email to read the cover letter of the packet we leave with the council members.
Please remember we need your help tomorrow to reach our goal of 1,000 phone calls the City Council Speaker, Christine Quinn.
Here we are, heading into the fourth and final week of the Building What?! campaign! Thank you for sticking with it.
As this campaign comes to an end, we would like you to contact us and let us know your thoughts about what worked, what didn’t work, and your suggestions for where we should continue to channel our collective voice.
Please remember, whether you’ve been participating for the last three weeks or not, we need you to make that one all-important phone call this coming Wednesday to the Speaker of the City Council, Christine Quinn. When it comes to the Speaker, we must establish ourselves as a force to be reckoned with, or it’s not even worth contacting her office. So please help us reach our goal of 1,000 phone calls.
Please note that City Council offices will be closed tomorrow, Friday, April 2 in observance of Good Friday. Building WHAT?! will resume full force on Monday, April 5, and culminate on Wednesday, April 7 with the Speaker of the City Council, Christine Quinn, who will be the only council member we contact that day. Our goal for the Speaker’s office is 1,000 phone calls and faxes, so please be sure to participate on Wednesday, April 7 – with only one person to contact it’s very easy!
Also, just to reiterate, please be sure to direct the aides to “A Message From Bob McIlvaine” on the NYCCAN.org homepage so that they see footage of Building 7 and learn what the pursuit of truth is all about.
Thank you!

Thank you for making Day 11 another eye-opening day! One caller had this to report:
“Called all three today – ladies at Reyna and Rivera’s offices were very receptive to the news about Building 7… None of the three had even heard of Building 7 before this calling campaign. I did my best to inform – got some “wow” responses!”

Thank you for sticking with it and making it easy for the City Council to listen to us with your polite and focused manner! So far all of the offices have told us they were pleased with how we have been communicating our message. Rest assured they are taking notice of what we have to say.
As we head into the final seven days of our campaign, we will be contacting some key council members whose support we will be counting on to make the City Council address Building 7, The Salomon Brothers building. So please be sure to continue what you are doing and make the effort end with a crescendo.
If you haven’t gotten involved yet, please consider doing so. One participant had this to say on Friday: “I’m pleasantly surprised at how easy it is to make a few simple calls to the Council Members. Their aides seem friendly and sincere, and are telling me they’re getting over 100 calls per day. They all promise that the Members will be looking into WTC 7. It feels good to help spread the word.”
WeAreChangeLA brought the 9-11 Truth message to the Anti-War march in Los Angeles in a HUGE way. We brought our four massive 2-sided blue banners. These babies are so big, it takes five of us to carry one. We showed up early and it paid off, because we got a good spot up front.Right off the bat, a young representative from the local chapter of ANSWER, the group that organized this Anti-War demonstration, approached us and told us that we would have to take our banners to the back of the march. Bruno Bruhwiler from WeAreChangeLA immediately confronted him about trying to kick us to the back of the bus. The young man said that ANSWER has the permit for the march, and they can tell us what to do. Bruno reminded him that they do not have a permit to trespass on our Freedom of Speech, and went on to advise the young man to go back and tell his team that they do not want to incur the liability for trespassing on our First Amendment Rights. He walked away after warning us that we would have to deal with the Police.
