One doesn’t get much closer to the elements of high-rise design than with the pyramid-shaped Transamerica Building in San Francisco. Stephen Barasch, AIA, our Featured Petitioner, was a member of the architectural design team for that 48-floor structure. Barasch was also instrumental in the Mark Hopkins Hotel architectural design, also in San Francisco.

New Document Supports Norman Mineta’s Testimony About VP Dick Cheney

John Farmer just posted a document from the 9/11 Commission files that strongly supports Norman Mineta’s public testimony before the 9/11 Commission. Here is the link:

The document is a Secret Service log from 9/11, and confirms that the Secret Service was tracking American Airlines flight 77 as it approached Washington on September 11, 2001.

Farmer, who pursued the FOIA request for the 9/11 RADES radar data (released in October 2007) explains in his post that the radar data from 9/11 agrees perfectly with the Secret Service timeline. Farmer has the 9/11 radar data in his computer and has made it available to other 9/11 researchers.

9/11 Helicopter Footage Hits WorldWide Media Headlines While Incriminating 9/11 FOIA Videos are Ignored

Recently acquired FOIA helicopter footage from 9/11 hit major media headlines. 

The new video, some of it seen before (@ 4:00 min), is low-mid quality and mostly missing the very important aspects of the WTC  Towers destruction; especially the onset of their destruction. It does however give good perspective to the dust cloud that covered thousands of people in Manhattan.

Over the last 9 years there have been many Freedom Of Information Act Requests filed  pertaining to the events on 9/11/01. Very little of the information that has been acquired has had any major media attention if any at all.

The recently revealed file was uploaded to YouTube on March 6th; within 4 days the video had received 8 million views.

WTC Building Damage, Fires, And Explosions

Weak poorly combusted fires not exceeding 120* C at the building exterior where the oxygen supply is greatest - High pressure gas exhaust and flame rollout – Sparks and white smoke.

 In the second half of this video the timing sequence is not in order, it shows the temperature and what we actually see. For time accuracy the thermographic camera and the footage shot from a similar angle are shown, both with original timestamp. FLIR Image of heat source in the structural 75th floor of the North Tower – This is a view of one of the mechanical floors (they were the only floors for which the prefabricated perimeter wall units were not staggered).

Black 9/11: A Walk on the Dark Side

This paper will review the evidence for informed, or insider, trading in the days and hours before the 9/11 attacks. From the very first, the phenomenon appeared to be world-wide. One consultant, Jonathan Winer, told ABC: “it’s absolutely unprecedented to see cases of insider trading covering the entire world from Japan to the US to North America to Europe.”[1] The list of affected nations was long, and included the US, Germany, Japan, France Luxembourg, Hong Kong, the UK, Switzerland and Spain.[2] Soon, independent investigations were underway on three continents in the belief that the paper trail would lead to the terrorists.

Press statements by leading figures in the international banking community left little doubt that the evidence was compelling. Ernst Welteke, President of the German Deutsche Bundesbank, told reporters that “a preliminary review by German regulators and bank researchers showed there were highly suspicious sales of shares in airlines and insurance companies, along with major trades in gold and oil markets, before September 11 that suggest….advance knowledge of the attacks. Welteke said that his researchers came across….almost irrefutable proof of insider trading.” Welteke was blunt: “What we found makes us sure that people connected to the terrorists must have been trying to profit from this tragedy.”[3]

9/11 Truth: Not A Left or Right Issue

The worldwide grassroots campaign to launch a new international investigation into the events of September 11, 2001, is the least divisive cause in the world. The 9/11 truth movement is not a political movement, nor is it a collection of closed-minded ideologues, but a rational and peaceful response to the irrational and criminal war on terror which is based on complete lies and myths.

9/11 truth is an issue of patriotism, freedom, truth, peace, democracy, and most of all, justice. It should attract the world’s attention as the most important issue of our age, but it is marginalized as a movement that is based not on facts but disinformation and paranoia, however, this line of thinking is wrong, and what’s more, it is reflective of deep-seated prejudices held by many people.

The two main players in releasing the Pentagon Papers were Daniel Ellsberg and United States Senator Mike Gravel.

Senator Gravel is the person who read the Pentagon Papers into the Congressional Record. This act made the papers public record, so that they could not be censored by the government. He was the only member of Congress courageous enough to do so.

Both Ellsberg and Gravel – like many other high-level former officials in the government and intelligence services (including many well-known whistleblowers) – support a new 9/11 investigation. Ellsberg says that the case of a certain 9/11 whistleblower is “far more explosive than the Pentagon Papers”. (Here’s some of what that whistleblower says.) He also said that the government is ordering the media to cover up her allegations about 9/11.

And he said that some of the claims concerning government involvement in 9/11 are credible, that “very serious questions have been raised about what they [U.S. government officials] knew beforehand and how much involvement there might have been”, that engineering 9/11 would not be humanly or psychologically beyond the scope of those in office, and that there’s enough evidence to justify a new, “hard-hitting” investigation into 9/11 with subpoenas and testimony taken under oath (see this and this).

Gravel is now backing a California ballot initiative for a new 9/11 investigation. The text of the initiative is below.

Colorado 9/11 Visibility is pleased to announce a live debate addressing the collapse of the three World Trade Center buildings on September 11, 2001

Sunday afternoon, March 6th, at the Boulder campus of the University of Colorado, Colorado 9/11 Visibility will host a debate between Richard Gage, AIA (American Institute of Architects), and Chris Mohr, Denver investigative journalist.

The question: What brought down the three World Trade Center skyscrapers?

Richard Gage, AIA, is a San Francisco Bay Area architect and a member of the American Institute of Architects. He has been an architect for over 23 years and has worked on most types of building construction, including numerous fire-proofed, steel-framed buildings.  His quest for the truth about 9/11 began in 2006, and he subsequently founded Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth.

Chris Mohr, investigative journalist and advocate of the “natural collapse” theory, is a sincere seeker of the truth who has extensively researched the collapses of the World Trade Center (WTC) buildings, consulted with independent physicists and engineers, and passionately argues that the buildings collapsed due to the plane impacts and fires.

In November 2010 at Denver’s Mercury Café, Mohr debated attorney Earl Staelin on the collapse of the twin towers.  This debate was unprecedented in its civility and professionalism.

Spend Your Weekend Watching: The 9/11 Omission Hearings

On September 9th, 2004, (only weeks after the 9/11 Commission Report was issued) then former Rep. Cynthia McKinney, along with 9/11 Family Members and citizen researchers, held what were called the “9/11 Omission Hearings” in New York City. To many of us that have been involved with this cause for a long time, these were truly historic. It is important to note that these hearings took place not two months after the release of the 9/11 Report. If you’ve never seen them, they come highly recommended. As you watch them, ask yourself, “is this something the media should have told me about?”

…. earlier, the Bush administration argued that Kissinger was not required to disclose his private business clients. However, the Congressional Research Service insists that he does, and Kissinger resigns rather than reveal his clients.

Kissinger had also been pressured to reveal his client list at a meeting with a group of victims’ relatives, in particular the “Jersey Girls.” One of the “Girls,” Lorie Van Auken, had even asked Kissinger whether he had “any clients named bin Laden?” Kissinger, who was pouring coffee at that moment, refused to answer, but spilled the coffee and fell off the sofa on which he was sitting.

It is reported that Kissinger is (or has been) a consultant for Unocal, the oil corporation, and was involved in plans to build pipelines through Afghanistan.
