9/11 First Responder Health Care Bill Vetoed

Nor Cal Truth    Dec 11, 2010

The  airwaves are filled with blame for Republicans for not passing the James Zadroga 9/11 Health and Compensation Bill, yet that is the short-sighted view of a very long and unnecessarily drawn out issue. Blame is across the board for the last 9 years of delays.

1,000 9/11 first responders have died already, the latest being 46 year-old NYPD member Kevin Czartoryski.

In my opinion we don’t have Republicans or Democrats in the Senate: ONLY CRIMINALS

Sen. Kristin Gillibrand rightly points to what THE ROOT problem has always been; “Our Government told them that the ‘air was safe…that the air was safe to breathe.’”

And no one has gone to jail.

The people of Ground Zero were told this by Christine Todd Whitman, who led the EPA. Later we would find out that the EPA press releases were being  manipulated and “fixed” by the NSC. This is taken from 9/11 Research:

In the days and weeks following the attack the Environmental Protection Agency gave assurances to New Yorkers that the dust permeating Lower Manhattan and the smoke still emanating from Ground Zero did not pose a health risk. The agency issued five press releases within ten days of the attack assuring people that the air was safe to breathe, despite an absence of data to support such assurances. 3   In August of 2003, it was revealed that the EPA had been muzzled by the Bush administration. EPA Inspector General Nikki Tinsley issued a report on August 21, 2003, admitting that the reassurances were unfounded, and that the public statements of the agency were being influenced by the National Security Council, under the direction of the White House. The EPA, according to the report, had been influenced to “add reassuring statements and delete cautionary ones.”

As with many of the 9/11 health posts, I always recommend watching one movie in particular: Dust to Dust, The Health Effects of 9/11

  1. Nobody Special says:

It’s “short-sighted” NOT “short-sided”! Also “of” not “od”, “Senate” not “Sentate”.

Sheesh WTF has happened to our education system …
