When George Sleigh walked into the North Tower of the World Trade Center at 7:30 a.m. on Sept. 11, 2001, it was a picturesque day.
“It was a beautiful morning, a crisp … morning,” he said. “The sun was coming up behind the World Trade Center, which at that time dominated the view of New York.”
Two hours later, he had to make his way down 90 flights of steps after a plane hit each tower in a terrorist attack. He made his way down to the concourse level.
“As I stepped outside the stairwell, the devastation was incredible,” he said. “It looked like a war zone.”
Supreme Court nominee Elena Kagan has gotten an angry thumbs-down from 9/11 family members who say she played a key role in quashing a lawsuit that accused the Saudi kingdom of helping finance the terror attacks.
“Kagan is the main reason why the Supreme Court ruled against the 9/11 families,” said William Doyle, who lost his son in the Twin Towers.

911blogger: Ms. Machon, what is your current relationship with David Shayler? Do you still believe that Shayler had a genuine breakdown, or was his breakdown perhaps premediated, with the intent of making 9/11 Truth advocates look batty?
Machon: David and I separated almost three years ago, and I’m now living in Germany with my partner and Molly the cat.
I have very little contact with David now, which is strange after the intensity of our years together, when we blew the whistle, had to go on the run around Europe, watch as our friends, family, supporters and journalists were arrested, live in France for 3 years and survive two high-profile court cases.
The last time I visited a University campus was 20 years ago when I went to see John Judge who had a 1st generation Zapruder film and discussed why the Lone Gunman Story just wasn’t true. I felt powerless, passive and out of touch with my fellow man in creating momentum to hold someone accountable. There were many people who believed the government’s story — which brought about speculation and no concrete proof. No fingerprint, no physical evidence, eye witnesses, no facts. So it seemed! The haunting strains of the lone piper playing Amazing Grace and projected photographs of the 343 firefighters who died at the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001, struck a somber note before a sellout crowd at the Marin Showcase Theater last Friday where main speakers Erik Lawyer, founder of Firefighters for 9/11 Truth and Richard Gage, AIA, founder of Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth, exposed the myths of the official story of 9/11.

Imagine that in this alternate universe, a foreign military power begins flying remote-controlled warplanes over your town, using on-board missiles to kill hundreds of your innocent neighbors.
Now imagine that when you read the newspaper about this ongoing bloodbath, you learn that the foreign nation’s top general is nonchalantly telling reporters that his troops are also killing “an amazing number” of your cultural brethren in an adjacent country. Imagine further learning that this foreign power is expanding the drone attacks on your community despite the attacks’ well-known record of killing innocents. And finally, imagine that when you turn on your television, you see the perpetrator nation’s tuxedo-clad leader cracking stand-up comedy jokes about drone strikes—jokes that prompt guffaws from an audience of that nation’s elite.
Ask yourself: How would you and your fellow citizens respond? Would you call homegrown militias mounting a defense “patriots” or would you call them “terrorists”? Would you agree with your leaders when they angrily tell reporters that violent defiance should be expected?
Richard Gage recently completed a very successful tour of Canada, including a stop in Montreal. Any theory that does not match experiment is wrong. It doesn’t matter what the computer models predict, how much funding is behind it, what the experts say, or what everyone “thinks”. Nothing can fool the laws of physics.
Arguing that a Pentagon order banning four journalists from covering military commissions at Guantanamo Bay was illegal and unconstitutional, The Miami Herald and two Canadian news outlets appealed on Wednesday.
While covering a hearing last week to determine the admissibility of confessions made by Canadian detainee Omar Khadr, four journalists from The Herald, which is owned by McClatchy, the Toronto Star, the Globe and Mail and Can-West Newspapers of Canada printed the name of a witness who had been identified at the hearing as “Interrogator No. 1.” The witness, Joshua Claus, had been convicted by a U.S. military jury of detainee abuse in 2005 and sentenced to five months in prison. His role as Khadr’s interrogator had been known since 2008, when it was first revealed by a judge at Guantanamo. He later gave an on-the-record interview to the Toronto Star.
On May 6, The New York Post ran the following story on its front page: “THANKS, FAISAL! Inept terror thug saves 900 cop jobs”
“That’s how many cops were going to be cut before Faisal’s botched bid at Times Square terror. His effort prompted the city to restore $55 million to the NYPD, saving those jobs and making New York a safer place.”
Though The Post didn’t mention it, Faisal wasn’t able to save 6,700 teaching jobs, 75 senior centers, 20 fire companies, nurses in elementary schools, and an unknown number of day-care centers and other programs for children, due to be cut by Mayor Bloomberg this year.
But this still seems like a good time to pause and reflect on all the blessings we have received from Terror and the war thereon.

According to most sources the date that the War on of Terror, and subsequent War on Afghanistan, did not start until October 7th - almost a month after the attacks. I had not seen this footage, nor did I know about it, that apparently shows us bombing Afghanistan the night of 9/11. I’ll add a link to the September 11 T.V. archives here, incase you want to rummage through any of it. At the bottom of this post are a few links provided by a reader at the original source. The links bring you to mainstream articles discussing the fact that the Afghan war was planned before 9/11. (PNAC anyone?)
