New York real estate developer Larry Silverstein and several key individuals associated with his firm, Silverstein Properties, appear to have had remarkable luck on September 11, 2001, when changes in their schedule or coincidental circumstances saved them from being high up in the World Trade Center when it was attacked.
Silverstein Properties took over the lease of the World Trade Center seven weeks before 9/11, the only time the complex had gone under private control [1], and after 9/11 Larry Silverstein sought damages of over $7 billion from his insurers for the destruction of the Twin Towers. [2] On September 11, the firm had temporary offices on the 88th floor of the North Tower. (American Airlines Flight 11 impacted that tower between its 93rd and 99th floors.) Of its 160 employees, 54 were working in those offices at the time of the attacks and four of them died. [3]
HIGH-LEVEL INDIVIDUALS AVOIDED DANGER ON 9/11
The fortunate circumstances that kept the high-level individuals out of danger the morning of 9/11 were quite extraordinary. Larry Silverstein survived the attacks supposedly because his wife forced him to go to a doctor’s appointment instead of a meeting at the WTC; Silverstein’s son and daughter survived because, independently of each other, they were running late; his top aide survived because he cut short a meeting he was in at the top of the North Tower; his publicist agreed to join a meeting at the WTC at 9:00 a.m. instead of 8:00 a.m.; and others associated with Silverstein Properties may have avoided danger due to the cancellation of a meeting on the 88th floor of the North Tower.
Lawyers for thousands of ground zero workers suing over their exposure to dust from the destroyed World Trade Center have offered to lower their legal fees in an attempt to salvage a major settlement in the case.
The law firm Worby Groner Edelman & Napoli Bern was initially poised to take home a third or more of a $657 million settlement negotiated on behalf of the workers this spring, but the future of that payout was put in doubt when U.S. District Judge Alvin Hellerstein rejected the deal in March.
Hellerstein said the settlement contained too much money for the legal team and too little for people who are legitimately ill.
The 9/11 attacks have had myriad long-term consequences for Americans across the country. But the aftermath of the 2001 tragedy took a surprising toll on pregnant women — by causing them to miscarry a disproportionate number of male fetuses.
That’s the conclusion of researchers at the University of California, Irvine, who have been studying the impact of 9/11 on male babies since 2005.
In a smaller study published that year, they found that women in California miscarried more male babies in the year after 9/11 than they did in other years from 1995 to 2002.
This time, the team tracked all fetal miscarriages in the country, using data from the National Vital Statistics System collected between 1996 and 2002.
NORAD is directly responsible for letting those planes hit their targets on 9/11. If you dont know about the “stand down” orders, visit the following resources here and here. Just look at the search resuts for “NORAD, 9/11, Failures.”

PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo., May 19, 2010 – North American Aerospace Defense Command and U.S. Northern Command dedicated a new Sept. 11 memorial during a ceremony here yesterday.
The memorial, featuring a steel beam recovered from the World Trade Center donated by the National Homeland Defense Foundation, stands near the entrance of the NORAD and Northcom headquarters building.
Don Addy, president and CEO of the National Homeland Defense Foundation, said people who view the memorial should remember not only the fallen, but also how the nation came together in the attack’s aftermath.
Use Google Earth to explore the 9/11 Memorial and Museum within the context of the surrounding landscape of lower Manhattan. Google Earth, a satellite imagery-based mapping program, creates a virtual look at the World Trade Center site by introducing a new, dimensionally accurate 3D model that replicates key components of the Memorial and other planned projects at the 16-acre site.
The censorship of the 9/11 false flag seems to have slightly cracked lately, especially outside the United States, with Richard Gage, AIA, presenting the World Trade Center demolitions to large audiences and getting favorable media reviews in Japan, Australia, New Zealand and Canada, and the Iranian government requesting that the United Nations investigate 9/11.
Evidently, our ultra-corrupt–or ultra-frigthened–congress and president are not ready to swallow 9/11 Truth. Some of them even claim ignorance of Building 7′s structural failure. But how about forcing them to take a few baby steps? Like having them face the fact that any high school kid will agree that the official technical investigation into the structural failure of Building 7 is less than satisfactory?
Paul, maybe you should write a new song that makes it implicitly clear:
“No war. More freedom. 9/11 was a SHAM – We will lose our rights, We are losing life . Now is the time – let’s make a stand. C’mon everybody join your hands.”
Anything along those lines would be just fine for me. Cheers.
Paul McCartney regrets that his 2001 song “Freedom,” which was debuted in the wake of 9/11 at The Concert For New York City, went on to inspire the more hawkish members of his audience. The song, which McCartney went on to play at the 2002 Super Bowl pre-game show, as well as the world tour that followed it, was soon retired from his setlists as the Iraq War escalated.
McCartney regrets that the song’s ultimate meaning was lost in the rush to war, with the message resonating with an urge for revenge — rather than justice, telling The Telegraph, “I think it got hijacked a bit, and (turned into something) a bit militaristic. Mine was in the spirit of ‘We Shall Overcome’; you know, ‘fight for your rights,’ in the Civil Rights sense, (it) doesn’t mean ‘Go out and hit people.’ It was a pity: it kind of stopped me doing it, actually.”
After the Senatorial Discussions event, members of We Are Change Utah decided to talk to Merrill Cook about 9/11 banking, and Bilderberg. Surprisingly he was very candid and forthcoming with us. Merill recognized a number of unanswered questions into 9/11, including WTC Building 7 and the FAA irregularities. Merill later compared the lack of truly thorough investigation with the JFK Assassination.
Respected Middle East expert and former BBC presenter Alan Hart has broken his silence on 9/11, by revealing that the world’s most prominent civil engineering company told him directly that the collapse of the twin towers was a controlled demolition.
When reading the articles below, keep one question in mind: Do you find these allegations credible and serious enough to deserve media coverage?
This question is crucial because the mainstream media has been ignoring (and in some cases actively trying to discredit) the facts and arguments below for years now.
It is the job of a properly functioning media to investigate credible allegations about issues important to the people and determine their validity. America’s media appears to have failed so completely here that it should be considered completely broken, if not dead.
Over 1000 architects and engineers have signed petition to reinvestigate 9-11 destruction
“At some level of government, at some point in time, there was an agreement not to tell the people the truth about what happened.” John Farmer, Senior Counsel to the 9-11 Commission in his book The Ground Truth.
The Telegraph reported that many professionals in Afghanistan believe the U.S. is funding both sides of the war:
It’s near-impossible to find anyone in Afghanistan who doesn’t believe the US are funding the Taliban: and it’s the highly educated Afghan professionals, those employed by ISAF, USAID, international media organisations – and even advising US diplomats – who seem the most convinced.
One Afghan friend, who speaks flawless English and likes to quote Charles Dickens, Bertolt Brecht and Anton Chekhov, says the reason is clear. “The US has an interest in prolonging the conflict so as to stay in Afghanistan for the long term.”
Pentagon officials announced today that for the first time since the 2003 invasion of Iraq, there are more troops in Afghanistan than Iraq, officially making Afghanistan the ‘Big War’ and Iraq ‘that other war.’
Given President Obama’s campaign pledges to escalate the war in Afghanistan and withdraw from Iraq, it is a wonder that it took over 16 months to reach this point, but a snail’s pace in the Iraq drawdown coupled with logistics problems in the latest Afghanistan escalation conspired to make it a long, difficult road.
Indeed, were it not for the endless surges into Afghanistan this day might never have come at all, as 92,000 troops remain in Iraq and the numbers are still not dropping in any sort of serious way. Rather Obama started with only 30,000 troops in Afghanistan but is rapidly approaching 100,000, with more expected all the time.
