In 2009, I published a little book entitled Osama bin Laden: Dead or Alive?1 Much evidence, I showed, suggested that Osama bin Laden had died on or about December 13, 2001. (Although this book was ignored by the US press, it received major reviews in British newspapers,2 and it even provided the basis for a BBC special.3) Pointing out that the only evidence to the contrary consists of “messages from bin Laden” in the form of audiotapes and videotapes that have appeared since 2001, I devoted one chapter to an examination of the most important of these tapes, showing that none are demonstrably authentic and that some are almost certainly fakes.
In the chapter preceding that examination, I discussed two videotapes containing purported interviews of Osama bin Laden in the fall of 2001, when the issue was whether he had been responsible for the 9/11 attacks. I suggested that both of these tapes, in which bin Laden allegedly admitted his responsibility, were fakes. If they were, I pointed out, this fact would increase the likelihood that all of the “Osama bin Laden tapes” appearing in the following years – when the question of whether he was still alive was added to that of his responsibility for 9/11 – were also fakes.
The clearest example, I argued, was the most famous of the so-called bin Laden confession videos. Having allegedly been found in a private home in Jalalabad, Afghanistan, in late November 2001, it is sometimes called the “November 9 bin Laden video,” because this date was stamped on it, implying that this was when it was made. It is also called the “bin Laden video of December 13,” because that was the date on which it was released to the public by the Pentagon – which is perhaps significant, given the evidence that bin Laden may have died on that day. (If he had, he would have obviously, and perhaps conveniently, been unable to comment on whether the tape was authentic.) In any case, I provided several reasons for concluding that this video was almost certainly fabricated.

I have revisited and extended some of my early measurements of high speed massive projectiles from the World Trade Center on 9/11. Sen. Jay Rockefeller (D-W.Va.) is imploring the tech community to work with congressional lawmakers to address cybersecurity reform before the nation experiences “a cyber-Katrina, or a cyber-9/11.”
During a speech Thursday at the Business Software Alliance’s 2010 Cybersecurity Forum, the chairman of the Senate Commerce Committee predicted anything less that full cooperation would threaten national security and increase the likelihood that an attack would trigger a public response in support of “tough, unbending solutions” that do not favor private industry.
In the scriptures are the words: “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.”
The words have special resonance when you consider the results of a study just published in the New England Journal of Medicine.
This study found that of 11,000 firefighters who were at ground zero in the two weeks after 9/11, when the dust cloud was thickest, most are not improving. Their lungs were heavily damaged by pulverized masonry and glass from the World Trade Cemter attacks.And they have not recovered.
Last week, Fox Business announced that it would begin airing senior judicial analyst Andrew Napolitano’s FoxNews.com show Freedom Watch. Given the show’s history, the move raises questions about whether the channel will allow Napolitano to mainstream and promote fringe guests and radical anti-government conspiracy theories.
In contrast to his Fox News colleagues, Napolitano has used his FoxNews.com show to praise and promote two of the most visible leaders of the 9-11 Truth movement, Alex Jones and Jesse Ventura. On Freedom Watch last month, Napolitano called guest Ventura a “champion of exposing government fraud and lies,” and promoted Ventura’s belief that the government either “participate[d]” in 9-11 or “knew it was going to happen and didn’t do very much to stop it.”
Napolitano also hosted “the great” Jones to push anti-government conspiracy theories about one-world government and his DVD The Obama Deception, which describes Obama as a “hoax” by the New World Order to impose ”forced National Service, domestic civilian spies, warrantless wiretaps, the destruction of the Second Amendment, FEMA camps and Martial Law.”
Update #1 – I have tried to introduce with why I see this as an important development in the story of 9/11 due to conversations with friends of mine. Though it is really late at night now for me to try to write, here it goes:
There are only a few that know what is happening behind the smoke and mirrors. The fact that not even the members of Al Qaeda expected the towers to fall might say a lot. The towers did not fall from fire, we know that. The towers did not fall from the planes, we know that too. Building 7 is only emphasis of these facts.
The CIA has detainees that are surprised at the towers collapse on 9/11.
Infact the world was surprised that the towers fell, not just Al Qaeda,
Ultimately al Qaeda was never in full control of the operation known as 9/11.
The concept of a building the size of WTC 1 or 2 being turned to pieces by a plane’s impact could not possibly be in the mind of a hijacker: It is not possible. Did the USS Cole sink? Our defense being another issue altogether, everyone knows there were plenty of warnings to intelligence agencies – so Al Qaeda never fooled anyone, really
So there they are, sitting in jail cells illegally - the dupes and the duped, unknowingly grunts of a front organization, bewildered, just as all of the world was on 9/11/01, as to how the towers fell.
Osama bin Laden had no idea the U.S. would hit al-Qaeda as hard as it has since the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks, a former bin Laden associate tells WTOP in an exclusive interview.
“I’m 100 percent sure they had no clue about what was going to happen,” says Noman Benotman, who was head of the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group in the summer of 2000.
Benotman’s assessment is backed up by a former Central Intelligence Agency officer, who was active in the fight against al-Qaeda. The officer, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, says “several captured terrorists have said publicly that al-Qaeda never expected the towers to fall. Their goal was to frighten people and impact the U.S. economy, so they really didn’t plan for the massive response the U.S. launched.”

An Algerian pilot who was wrongly held and charged by British authorities as a 9/11 accomplice has won a compensation settlement after almost 9 years. Lotfi Raissi was falsely accused of training some of the 9/11 hijackers how to fly by British authorities 10 days after September 11th, 2001. He was the person charged, and falsely charged for being a 9/11 accomplice. This comes from the Guardian UK:
A judge threw the case out in 2002 and said there was no evidence against him. Since then, Raissi has sought an apology. In 2008, in a judgment that exonerated him, three court of appeal judges condemned the Met and the CPS for abusing the court process, presenting false allegations and not disclosing evidence.
Another judge has been making headlines about 9/11: Judge Hellerstein has said that he may open undisclosed 9/11 settlement amounts because he “does not like secrets.” Speaking about settlement amounts for the 9/11 victims families members, or hush money, the Judge said he may reveal the amounts so other families that have not settled can base their decisions upon something other than what the Government says. Accepting any amount as compensation for 9/11 from the Government comes with a catch; you are not allowed to be a file a lawsuit against anyone involved with 9/11.
“The international community went in together, and we will pull out together. If we do not then the consequences, I am convinced, would be far more disastrous than the results of the September 11, 2001 attacks,” Merkel said.
“Just looking at the map makes this clear. Right next door to Afghanistan is nuclear-armed Pakistan, and we have to assume that another neighbour, Iran, is also doing everything it can to become a nuclear power,” she said in parliament.
In a spirited defence of the deployment following the deaths of seven German soldiers this month, Merkel noted that a recent conference organised by US President Barack Obama had agreed that “nuclear terrorism is one of the world’s biggest security dangers.”
