A summary of news relating to 9/11/01 - The week of March 8 through March 14, 2010. (Last week is here)
Bob McIlvaine is the father of Bobby McIlvaine, who was killed in the attacks of 9/11. Like many other family members, Mr. McIlvaine wants to know more about what took his son’s life on September 11th. He has launched a campaign called “Building What?!”, trying to educate the New York City council members on the collapse of World Trade Center #7. Building #7 was a 47 story skyscraper that collapsed at 5:20 in the evening on September 11th, 2001. This building was not hit by a plane, yet it fell at close to gravity like speed and into its own footprint. The 9/11 Commission did not report about this building, leaving many wondering why. Bob McIlvaine would like all our help in educating the City Council of New York, please check out the page he has set up here.
A campaign in New Hampshire had successful results this week, this is taken from their website:
On March 9, 2010 voters in the town of Richmond, New Hampshire became the second town in the United States to pass a resolution calling upon Congress to open a new investigation into the events of September 11, 2001.
The Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth group has reached 1,122 degreed professionals who want a new investigation. Richard Gage, AIA, who founded the group was interviewed by Gary Null this week along with Erik Lawyer who founded Firefighters for 9/11 Truth. The very next day Gary Null interviewed David Ray Griffen, who has authored some ten books regarding the attacks of 9/11.
Jesse Ventura recently completed a new book called “American Conspiracies.” He made his rounds, dropping in on Larry King, The View, Al Jazeera, NBC, Alex Jones, and even FOX. As he was making his rounds he also penned a piece for the Huffington Post. Believed by many to be a progressive news site, within hours of Jesse posting his article that questioned 9/11, the Huffington Post took it down. Amazingly the article makes no accusations and is only questioning certain things.
ABC was at the Treason in America Conference and put out little piece on the 9/11 gathering. Unfortunately it was probably the Pentagon shooter that brought them out, and they did not talk to any family members or architects. Fortunately they did make it clear that the 9/11 community does not condone violence. Coleen Rowley, a FBI whistleblower interviewed by ABC, wrote an article about the “hatchet job” that Chris Bury did and how he had an agenda from the beginning.
In the ABC interview Lee Hamilton, 9/11 commissioner asked for evidence to be brought forward. Kevin Ryan has issued a response to Mr. Hamilton reminding him that evidence has been brought forward but so far ignored. Those e-mail exchanges may be found here. Let’s hope for the best.
In a major legal settlement, New York has recognized that the air on and after 9/11 was toxic for more than 10,000 sick first responders and volunteers. This is a bittersweet victory as it allows for some official recognition for serious health issues. However many people have died due to the toxic compounds in their bodies, and many will be sick for the rest of their lives. There is no amount of money that can compensate for one’s health or life. The settlement is also a confession that could have been made by the EPA or the NSA on and after 9/11, that the air was toxic to breathe. Many believe the desire to reopen Wall Street was the motivation for keeping the health alerts to a minimum. 95% of the plaintiffs involved in the case must agree to the settlement in order for it to become officially settled.
In more international news this comes from 9/11 Blogger:
On the 8th of March 2010 Cynthia Mckinney (a former US Congresswoman and 2008 Green Party Presidential nominee) and Dr Nafeez Ahmed (best-selling author and political scientist) address a meeting of Members of Parliament (see video here) on the subject of the need for an independent investigation into the events of September 11th 2001.
An attack article written by the Washington Post about Yukihisa Fujita, member of the Democratic Ruling Party of Japan, has been rejected by Yukihisa Fujita himself. The Post story accused Fujitia of having “bizarre” theories about 9/11/01. “I find it regrettable that this kind of biased article should be published in The Washington Post,” said Mr. Fujita, having only questioned the events of September 11th and asked for a proper investigation in order to fulfill the victim’s family members requests.
This week also saw the passing of another 11th day of month truth action. Every 11th of each month thousands of people around the globe head outside to their cities and towns to help spread awareness about the events of 9/11. The dedicated and new people who head out to the streets have been an essential part of the momentous struggle behind us; and will be essential in the struggle ahead of us.
Until next week.
