The week of February the 22nd through the 28th regarding news relating to 9/11, summarized.
The ripple effects of the Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth press conference are continuing to be seen. (Last weeks news here.) The Washington Times carried an article entitled “Explosive News“, regarding the questions that AE911Truth brings to the table. The Examiner is another outlet that carried the AE911Truth press conference. Canadian and Russian have picked up on the story of over 1000 architects and engineers calling for a new investigation into 9/11 as well.
It has only been 1 week since the conference announcing the 1,000 and they’re already at 1,080 architects and engineers! (Probably more by the time I’m done writing this. ) One observant fellow noticed that in the 18 days of February before the conference 23 architects or engineers were added to the list, while in the 10 days of February after the conference 38 newly verified architects or engineers signed on for a new investigation. That is some good news!
During a round-table discussion at the French Senate January 29, 2010, on the topic of “Where are we at with Al Qaeda?”, Alain Chouet — former head of the Security Intelligence Service of the DGSE (Directorate-General for External Security: the French equivalent of the CIA or MI6) — demystified the concept of “Al Qaeda” and denounced the inappropriate responses and other instrumentalizations by the West, without however deflating the dangers of Islamic extremism.
The video below has been subtitled into English and edited to include the best parts of Alain Chouet’s passionate discourse containing no stonewalling or political doublespeak, placing itself light-years ahead of the official discourse about September 11th and “the nebulous Al Qaeda” that the mainstream media have been reporting for far too long.
Would you like to know what the French “spies” think of Al Qaeda? Hold-on tight, the masks are about to fall. Alain Chouet’s stance, which no one would dare qualify as conspiratorial, is in no way different than the information the French Association ReOpen911 modestly (but tenaciously) reports via our site.

Physicist David Chandler continues his insightful analysis of the destruction of three WTC skyscrapers on 9/11/2001 in this very readable paper. From the summary:
The fact that the roof line of the upper section of the North Tower continued to accelerate downward through the collision with the lower section of the building indicates that the upper section could not have been acting as a pile driver. As long as the roof line was accelerating downward, the upper block exerted a force less than its own static weight on the lower section of the building. Any accretion of material into the upper block would have acted as an inertial brake, reducing the force of interaction even further. The undamaged lower section of the building was built to support several times the weight of the material above it, but whether or not we take the safety factor into account, the reduced force exerted by the falling mass could not have been what caused the violent destruction of the building seen in numerous videos. The persistent acceleration of the top section of the building is strong confirmation that some other source of energy was used to remove the structure below it, allowing the upper block to fall with little resistance.

Anti-war groups have long been regarded as deliberate gatekeepers to the 9/11 Truth (and anti-war) movement. But in 2009 VFP membership mushroomed with savvy new members who realized it wasn’t enough to protest the war if you didn’t protest the government lie that allowed it to happen. And most VFP members know the “Tonkin Resolution” was a deliberate lie – aka: “False Flag”.
By 2008, an international team of scientists had published volumes of conclusive evidence for “explosive demolition” of the Twin Towers and WTC-7. This hard evidence and admissions by the 9/11 commission that they were “set up to fail” moved VFP members and leadership to pass a resolution to press for a new 9/11 investigation during their 2009 annual meeting.
In the past year, in response to emerging independent science on the 9/11 attacks, nine corporate, seven public, and two independent media outlets aired analytic programs investigating the official account.
Increasingly, the issue is treated as a scientific controversy worthy of debate, rather than as a “conspiracy theory” ignoring science and common sense.
This essay presents these media analyses in the form of 18 case studies.
Eight countries – Britain , Canada , Denmark , France , the Netherlands , New Zealand , Norway and Russia – have allowed their publicly-owned broadcasting stations to air the full spectrum of evidence challenging the truth of the official account of 9/11.
This more open approach taken in the international media – I could also have included the Japanese media – might be a sign that worldwide public and corporate media organizations are positioning themselves, and preparing their audiences, for a possible revelation of the truth of the claim that forces within the US government were complicit in the attacks – a revelation that would call into question the publicly given rationale for the military operations in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Pakistan.

Update #1: I jave not been informed of the exact situation, but I am waiting for the interview to start. Sorry for the false lead so far….though the last time it was rescheduled I was not told until after the show….I’ll be listening.
Democrats have retreated from adding new privacy protections to the primary U.S counterterrorism law, stymied by Senate Republicans who argued the changes would weaken terror investigations.
The proposed protections were cast aside when Senate Democrats lacked the necessary 60-vote supermajority to pass them. Dashing the hopes of liberals, the Senate Wednesday night instead passed — by voice vote without debate — a one-year extension of key parts of the USA Patriot Act that would have expired on Sunday.
Thrown away were restrictions and greater scrutiny on the government’s authority to spy on Americans and seize their records.

The following is a February 4, 2010 Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) appeal reply from the U.S.Armed Forces Institute of Pathology regarding a request for records that confirm the recovery and identification of terrorists accused of hijacking American Airlines flight 77 and United Airlines flight 93 on September 11, 2001. Such records are reportedly exempt from disclosure under exemption (b)(7)(a) which prohibits disclosure of information which would interfere with an on-going law enforcement investigation and exemption (b)7(c), which also provides protection for law enforcement information the disclosure of which could reasonably be expected to result in an unwarranted invasion of personal privacy of individuals in being associated with criminal activities, including investigators. According to the AFIP, the FBI considers the investigation into the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 as still open.
This letter responds to your Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) appeal dated October 29,2008. The U.S. Army Medical Command, the Initial Denial Authority (IDA), denied your request to the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology (AFIP) for all records pertaining to the recovery and identification of human remains of those who perished in the September 11, 2001 attacks at the Pentagon and Shanksville, PA.

Austin suicide pilot Joe Stack kept some very interesting company as far as the client list for his software programming company is concerned, including a defense contractor with NSA and Homeland Security connections that ironically dealt with air defense systems.
The Georgetown Airport hanger in which Stack’s ill-fated Piper Cherokee was kept was jointly leased by Stack and a man called John Podolak, records show.
1000 ARCHITECTS AND ENGINEERS FLIP PUBLIC SWITCH. The addition of the third beam of light to the Tribute in Light memorial at ground zero this year was inspired by 1,000 Architects and Engineers now calling for a new and independent investigation. The proposed Truth in Lights memorial recognizes first responder’s like Barry Jennings who died from complications due to his testimony regarding explosions in WTC Building 7.
